Lane County Elections mailed ballots today (Jan. 4) for the Jan. 23 Special Election. Ballots are expected to be delivered to all eligible voters beginning today and continuing through Tuesday, Jan. 9.
Voters who are eligible to vote in this election and who do not receive a ballot for the Jan. 23 Special Election can check on the status of their registration and ballot at <http://www.oregonvotes.gov> . They may also contact Lane County Elections at 541-682-4234 to determine if they need to update their voter registration to receive a ballot.
Voters may drop off their ballots at one of many official drop box locations listed in the insert included with their ballot. Drop boxes are now open and will remain open until 8 p.m. on Election Day.
Lane County Elections is located at 275 W. 10th Avenue, on the corner of 10th and Lincoln in downtown Eugene. Public office hours are 9 a.m. to noon and 1 to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday.
On Election Day, Jan. 23, the Lane County Elections Office will be open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.
