Randall “Rand” Hoberg completed his journey into the spirit world on November 22, 2022

HOBERG—Randall “Rand” Hoberg completed his journey into the spirit world on November 22, 2022. Rand was the beloved spouse of Beverly Hoberg, the father of Jennifer Hoberg and Jessica Hoberg, and the grandfather of Gavin Sage Neff.

Rand was born to Bill Davis and Wanda (Davis) Hoberg on Sept. 18, 1951. Rand was adopted by Gary Hoberg and was the brother to Shasta Hoberg McMullen, James Hoberg, Rhonda Davis Wasson, Christy Davis Hayes and Chryston Davis.

Rand worked on the City of Florence Planning Commission, was an official of the Rhododendron Parade, was an ASE Master Mechanic, was a musician who worked with several bands in Oregon and was the owner and operator of Bay Street Productions, The Fabric Line and High Mountain Enterprises. 

Rand was a silk screen printer who printed for high profile personalities such as Jane Fonda, The Grateful Dead and Ken Kesey, as well as local schools and businesses. Rand’s Fabric Line was commissioned to create furniture designs and wallpaper for an entire floor of Caesars Palace and his work was featured in magazines including Architectural Design and Metropolitan Home.

As per Rand’s request, no funeral will be held, however this summer, several of the local musicians will be holding a "jam session" for Rand at a local venue. No date or venue has been set yet. Updates will be posted on Facebook on the pages of family and friends.
