QUINN—Pamela Lee Quinn, 72, passed away April 17, 2021 after a nine-year battle against cancer.
She was born in Brooklyn, NY, in 1959. Her parents moved to Santa Monica, Calif., and she attended schools in that area.
Pam worked in the nursing field for many years. She eventually met and married Donald Quinn and, upon his retirement in 2000, moved to Florence, Ore.
Pam enjoyed working in the Indian Education program at the local school district. She enjoyed her many friends in her neighborhood as well as those in several local organizations including the Florence Garden Club.
Some of her happiest times during the last few years was being amongst friends at the Bridgeport Market and the old town area.
She was especially proud of her new grandson, Damian.
Pam is preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Marilyn Sawyer.
She is survived by her husband, Donald Sr.; sons Donald Quinn Jr., David (and Pam and their son Damian); her sister, Elaine Gregg (and her husband, Tom) of Torrance, Calif.; nephew Mark Gregg and niece Robin Farrell; and many aunts and cousins living throughout the country.
Due to COVID restrictions a memorial will be held at a later date.
Burns’s Riverside Chapel Florence Funeral Home and Pacific Sunset Cemetery are in charge of all arrangements.
