Phillip Thomas Zoller passed away September 13, 2021
ZOLLER—Phillip Thomas Zoller passed away on Sept. 13, 2021 after a difficult battle with COVID pneumonia.
Phillip was born July 7, 1938, to Joseph and Blanche Zoller in Indianapolis, Ind.
He served in the U.S. Air Force from 1955 to 1959 in Fairbanks, Alaska.
Phillip was pastor of the Pentecostal Church in Florence. He graduated from Conquerors Bible College in Portland, Oregon. Attended Pacific University in Indiana and an MBA at Golden Gate University in California. He also served on numerous committees for the City of Florence.
He is survived by his wife Ruth Zoller of Florence, Ore.; three sons, Phillip Wesley (Yun) of Beaverton, Ore., Paul Wayne (Beth) of Middletown, Penn., and Charles Joseph of Cottage Grove, Ore.; three granddaughters, Ali Mayer of Middletown, Penn., and Josie and Natalie Zoller of Portland, Ore.; as well as several stepchildren all who loved him dearly.
He was proceeded in death by his first wife Fortuna Alice (Wesley) Zoller, his parents, and a sister, Betty Hood.
Graveside services will be held on Thursday, Sept. 23, 2021, at Pacific Sunset Cemetery at 2 p.m., located off Highway 126 in Florence, Ore. Officiating will be Rev James Bigelow and Rev Timothy Banks.
Burns's Riverside Chapel Florence Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
