Peace Harbor welcomes two new providers

Erik Cooper and Donald Stoddard join staff

Jan. 20, 2020 — PeaceHealth Peace Harbor Medical Center announced the addition of the following providers to its hospital teams:

Erik Cooper, NP, has joined the Emergency Department and Hospital Medicine teams at Peace Harbor.

Cooper joined PeaceHealth after several years providing acute care to cancer patients, most recently at Willamette Valley Cancer Institute in Eugene. He completed a Master of Science in Nursing at the University of South Alabama in Mobile. He served as a commissioned officer in the U.S. Army Reserve from 1998 to 2006.

Donald Stoddard, MD, has joined the Hospital Medicine team at Peace Harbor. Before joining PeaceHealth, Stoddard worked as a contract hospitalist in Roseburg, Medford and Hillsboro.

He earned his medical degree at Oregon Health & Science University and completed an internal medicine residency at Abbott-Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis.
