Patricia Joyce Reavis, passed away Dec. 19, 2022

FENDER—Patty was born Patricia Joyce Reavis on Dec. 16, 1937, to Vina and Elwyn Reavis.

Patty was raised in Westlake, Ore., with her two brothers, Gerald and Delbert.

She passed away Dec. 19, 2022, at age 85.

Patty married Leonard Fender in 1960 and they shared two children together, Debra (Sneddon) and Brian.

Patty raised her children in Florence and supported her family working for many years at Lane County Bank later called Western Bank. She retired after 17 years at The Blue Heron Gallery. S

he was a treasured and valued member of the community.

She was an active hardworking woman her whole life, always caring for others.

Patty was a great cook who enjoyed spending time outside and with her beloved pets. She took great pride in her beautiful yard, her rhododendrons and her houseplants.

Her greatest joy in life was spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Patty was the true embodiment of love and strength.

There was nothing she could not do and there was nothing she would not do for her family.

Patty was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard; her parents; her brother Delbert; and her nephew, Del.

She is survived by her children; Debra (Robert) Sneddon and Brian (Penny) (Becky) Fender; her brother Gerald (Donna) Reavis; sister-in-law JoLece Reavis; niece and nephews: Michael, Mark, Blake and Charene Reavis. She is also survived by her grandchildren: Kady Sneddon (Ethan Dougherty), Aislynn Fender (Bruno Castillo), Abigael Fender, Hope Sneddon (Ryan Warren), Kellen Fender (Alexis Hanna); and great-grandchildren Jamie Fender, Quanah, Priscilla and Athena Castillo, Olive Dougherty and Emmitt Fender.

Burns’ Riverside Chapel handled final arrangements.

Her family will hold a private graveside service this summer.
