Oregon Pacific Bank’s Community Shred Day open to Florence residents, businesses Sept. 10

Sept. 7, 2022 — Just as the leaves are soon to turn, it’s time to clear out all those old papers from the office and take them to Oregon Pacific Bank’s Community Shred Day this Saturday!

This popular annual event is completely free and open to anyone in the local community. This is a chance for members of the public to protect personal information and ensure confidential documents are destroyed, an important strategy to guard against identity theft and other financial fraud.

Community Shred Day takes place this Saturday, Sept. 10, at Oregon Pacific Bank’s Florence branch, located at 1365 Highway 101. It starts at 10 a.m. and continues until 1 p.m. A shredding truck will be onsite. Business owners are asked to please wait until 12 p.m. to bring confidential materials for shredding.

Once the shred truck is full, Oregon Pacific Bank won’t be able to accept any more confidential documents. After all documents have been shredded, they are taken to be recycled, allowing for a safe and responsible way to dispose of confidential paper materials.
