OPB showcases artist Pam Nedder

Florence Regional Arts Alliance (FRAA) presents artwork by its many talented members in the lobby of Oregon Pacific Bank

July 20, 2019 — Each month, Florence Regional Arts Alliance (FRAA) presents artwork by its many talented members in the lobby of Oregon Pacific Bank, 1355 Highway 101.

The creative artist exhibiting in July is Pam Nedder.

Moving from the Portland area with her husband Andy, Nedder describes Florence as “a little slice of heaven.”

She has worked in the electrical business for many years, and now is able to work remotely in this field. Though her background involves lots of spreadsheets, she found herself “tripping over the power cable of my computer and falling head-over-heels in love with painting.”

Her favorite art process is Acrylic Pouring.

“It all starts by making a mess — literally!,” she said. “Part of the joy is always being surprised by the finished product, everyone sees something different.”

Nedder is an exhibiting artist and active volunteer at FRAA, as well as a popular teacher of Acrylic Pouring classes.
