Nov. 2 Special Election Preliminary Results

2021 vote on Western Lane Ambulance Levy

Nov. 2, 2021— Beginning at 8 p.m., the Lane County Clerk Office will post results of the Nov. 2 Special Election to lanecounty.org/elections.

There was only one item on the ballot for Lane County, which went out to the county’s western residents. Measure #20-322 asked voters to “Renew Five-Year Option Levy for Emergency Medical/Ambulance Services” for Western Lane Ambulance District.

As of 8 a.m. Nov. 3, the measure passed, with 3,510 yes votes out of 6,197 ballots.

This means the district will renew the existing 45 cents per $1,000 assessed value for five years beginning 2022-23 for emergency medical operations.

As of Tuesday afternoon, around 40 percent out of 14,286 registered voters had turned in their ballots. The deadline for submission was Nov. 2 at 8 p.m.

Elections results can be obtained at http://www.lanecounty.org/electionresults. The results are still preliminary.
