Sept. 14, 2019 — Margaret Ann Cuffaro, 85, passed away peacefully Saturday, Sept. 7, in Eugene, Ore.
Marge was born Jan. 15, 1934. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Marge and her husband Joseph (Joe) began their life together in San Jose, Calif., where they raised their family. They moved to Florence, Ore., in 2001. Marge enjoyed her retirement life with neighbors and friends and also took great pleasure in cooking and baking for friends and family.
Her Christmas gingerbread cookies were the delight of her grandchildren.
Marge is survived by her husband of 69 years, Joe Cuffaro; her four children: son Randy of San Leandro, Calif.; son Steve of Portland, Ore.; daughter Lorri Langin of Acton, Mass., and husband, Richard; son Chris of Hollywood, Calif.; grandmother to Spencer and his wife, Shannon; Madelyn Langin; and Claire Langin.
She is also survived by her sister-in-law, Arleen Cuffaro Austin and her husband, Dr. Harvey Austin, of Mystic, Conn.
She also leaves behind many nieces and nephews.
The family would like to express its deepest thanks and appreciation for the assistance and care provided by many neighbors and friends in Florence; the community of doctors, home healthcare workers and staff members at PeaceHealth Peace Harbor Hospital in Florence; Green Valley Rehabilitation of Eugene, Ore; and Hospice care of Eugene Ore.
A celebration of Marge’s life will be held at a future date in Florence.
Burns’s Riverside Chapel Florence Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
