March 18, 2020 — Lucille R. Wilson, 87, passed away on March 13, 2020.
She was born on Sept. 30, 1932, to A.J. Carter and Ethel Lawrence Carter, in McAlester, Okla.
She married Mitchell W. Wilson on June 29, 1951, in Florence, Ore.
She graduated from Siuslaw High School in 1950, where she was eventually employed as secretary from 1966 to 1991.
She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother, and her family meant the world to her. She also cherished her many friendships.
She was a God-fearing woman, and her faith was very important to her. She valued her relationship with the Lord very much.
She enjoyed camping and fishing, going to her children and grandchildren’s sporting events, and anything that involved spending time with her family.
She also liked reading and cross stitching, and in her younger years she and Mitchell loved to go out dancing.
Lucille and Mitchell were married for 67 years when Mitchell passed. She missed him so much and life wasn’t the same for her without him. She is now reunited with him and is at peace.
She is survived by her son Randy and his wife Robin; her daughter Cindi and her husband Ben; her son Brad and his fiancé Lisa; eight grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, and two great, great, grandchildren.
She was loved by all who knew her, and she will be greatly missed.
At Lucille’s request, a private service will be held. Burns’s Riverside Chapel will be in charge of arrangements.
