Linda Andrews

May 16, 2018 — Linda Andrews, a long-time resident of the Mapleton area, died Thursday, April 26, at home with her family.

Born in 1949 in Willmar, Minn., her family moved to Swisshome in the early 1950s.

She graduated from Mapleton high school in 1967 and shortly thereafter married Edward Andrews. They had four children, eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Linda was an artist and worked as a cake decorator at Thriftway and Safeway in Florence, where she worked until her retirement.

Linda loved baking, sewing, quilting and crocheting and had a wonderful smile that could light up a room.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Tracy Andrews; her son Scott Andrews and grandson Stefan Andrews.

She is survived by her husband, Edward; her daughter, Stacy Carnahan, and son Kevin Andrews.

Memorial donations can be made to the American Cancer Society.

There was a celebration of life service at the Swisshome Church.

Burns’s Riverside Chapel Florence Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
