Siuslaw students register this week, Mapleton next week

August 16, 2022 — As the days grow shorter and the leaves begin to change, it’s closer to the end of summer vacation and to the start of the 2022-23 school year for students in Florence, Mapleton and the surrounding communities.

Most returning Siuslaw students can register online or in-person. Mapleton School District does their registration in person.

Starting today, August 16, parents of returning Siuslaw students can register by logging into ParentVUE and updating their students' information at www.siuslaw.k12.or.us/o/siuslaw-school-district/page/school-registration-information.

New Siuslaw students should follow this link to register: https://slsd.edupoint.com/PXP2_OEN_Login.aspx.

Parents of students entering kindergarten in the Siuslaw School District should register in-person at Siuslaw Elementary School, 2221 Oak Street, today, tomorrow or Thursday, between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m.

Florence students can also register in person as all Siuslaw School District school offices will be open for registration and questions between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. today through Thursday, August 18.

Mapleton registration begins next week.

The district asks all families, new and returning, to register in-person at their school, Tuesday, Aug. 23, Wednesday, Aug. 24, or Thursday, Aug. 25, between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m.

Mapleton School District will have small art projects available for students who attend and resources to share for families.

If parents of Mapleton students are unavailable to attend during these times, families can contact Carly (elementary, 541-268-4471, [email protected]) or Jamie (middle or high school, 541-268-4322, [email protected]) to arrange a different time.
