Sept. 20, 2021 — Oregon Department of Transportation (ODOT) reported that a morning crash near Noti has closed Highway 126. There is a detour through Poodle Creek and Highway 36 in Mapleton.
ODOT first reported the closure at 8:15 a.m. on Monday, Sept. 20.
Highway 126 was closed near Noti and milepost 37 at Poodle Creek Road following a multi-vehicle crash involving a log truck.
This has been a lengthy closure for a law enforcement investigation and reconstruction, and for the removal of the logs from the roadway. Traffic is being detoured at Mapleton and Poodle Creek Road using Highway 36 to connect back to Highway 126.
Travelers should avoid the area or expect delays.
