Nov. 14, 2018 — Harold Neal Hubbard Jr., 74, of Florence, passed away suddenly Sept. 16, 2018, while on a trip home from eastern Oregon.
He was born in Portland, Ore., April 30, 1945, to Harold and Alice Hubbard, the oldest of three children, which included his little brother Richard Hubbard and little sister Clara Warren.
Neal traveled extensively but spent most of his life in or around the Florence area. He was a talented country music singer and played many years with his little brother playing guitar.
Neal was was a kind, honest man who spent many nights in his auto shop fixing cars for free for people who needed a little help.
He leaves behind many sons and daughters, both biologic and adopted, who will forever love and appreciate all that he was to all of them.
He will be waiting in Heaven for his wife of 51 years, Leila Marie Hubbard, who was by his side until his final day.
There will be a celebration of his life on Saturday, Nov. 17, at 82871 Parker Lane in Dexter, Ore., for all those wishing to pay their respects.
