Dec. 27, 2022 — The 10th annual Twin Lakes Teen Giving Tree program, which works to give Siuslaw teenagers ages 12-18 a Christmas they would usually not be able to afford, celebrated their decade milestone by providing presents, food baskets and other gifts for 65 area teenagers this year. Santa Claus greeted families as they drove into the Twin Lakes parking lot, as volunteers handed out gifts that were purchased by area residents, based on specific lists provided by the teenagers.
