Harbor Vista adds overnight options

June 24, 2022 — Lane County Parks is excited to announce the completion of three new cabins at Harbor Vista Campground in Florence.

“Places to camp are in high demand on the coast,” said Lane County Parks Manager Brett Henry. “Harbor Vista is really a jewel of a campground, and these cabins provide more options for people who want to enjoy the beauty of the coast but don’t prefer or have the equipment to go tent or RV camping. They are an especially wonderful option for families and pet owners.”

Each cabin is furnished with a queen bed and full-size sleeper sofa on the main floor, and two twin mattresses in the loft. Additional amenities include a mini fridge, microwave, bistro table and two chairs, cadet heating, and 110v electrical outlets.

Each cabin features a spacious 6x16-feet covered porch, which provides private space to enjoy beautiful ocean views and sunsets year-round. Each site also includes a picnic table and BBQ pit.

Guests enjoy direct beach access within one mile of the campground. Shared restrooms and shower facilities are located in the adjacent campground and water is available next to the cabins. Parking is connected to the cabins by a paved walkway between 100’ and 200’ long. Maximum occupancy is six guests and two pets.

Cabin 2 is Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) accessible.

Situated on the central Oregon Coast, Harbor Vista Campground (87658 Harbor Vista Road, north of Florence) offers a lush green setting with some of the most spectacular views of the Pacific Ocean. This coastal community is a great home base for exploring miles of pristine beaches, or just resting and relaxing. Historic Old Town Florence is a quick drive from the campground and offers local antique shops and boutiques, as well as a variety of delicious food choices.

The cabins are $70 per night plus a $10 reservation fee with a two-night minimum stay. There is a $10 pet fee, per night, with a two-pet maximum.
