FEGLES—Gerald (Jerry) Fegles, 94, of Springfield, Ore., passed on November 19, 2022.

Jerry was born July 13, 1928, in Eugene, Ore., to Alice (Clark) and Verl Fegles.

He married Phyllis Kleinsmith in 1947 and later divorced in 1984. He later married Marillea and Bonnie, both whom preceded him in death.

Jerry was a plumber by trade and owned his own business for many years. He was known for being a hard worker, his sense of humor and his laugh. He had a natural green thumb and loved to tinker with things, as well as being a gifted painter and quite the storyteller. He loved to give his children and grandchildren leg shakes, horse bites and whisker burns! He loved his family, children, and grandchildren dearly and will be deeply missed.

Jerry is survived by his brother Bob and his wife Carol of Eugene; his children, Linda of Springfield, Steven of Windchester Bay, and Kenneth of Florence. His grandchildren: Craig, Carol, and Christopher Patterson; Aaron, Joshua, and Tony Fegles; Jamie Weaver, Stephanie Wright, and Katie Rainwater; as well as 18 great-grandchildren and 14 great-great-grandchildren.

At his request, no services will be held. Arrangements are being handled by Andreason's of Springfield. Donations in his memory may be made to Greenhill Humane Society of Eugene.
