Gerald (Jerry) Allen Rosier, passed away May 17, 2023.
Gerald (Jerry) Allen Rosier, 74, beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend, passed away May 17, 2023 at Riverbend Hospital after suffering a sudden stroke in his home on May 6. His joyous whistle and humor will be missed by many.
A memorial to come together and share stories amongst family and friends will be held June 3, 2023, at 11 am, at Burns’s Riverside Chapel, 2765 Kingwood Street, Florence, Oregon.
We are in mourning. He will be forever in our hearts and memories as a man with high integrity, patience, kindness, love, respect, and gratitude towards life. He was funny with a contagious laugh that lit up the room and a seriousness that came to light when it was justly necessary. He was known as a loyal and hard-working man who would do anything for his family and friends, as they would do the same for him. We have AMAZING memories and photographs to remind us how full his life truly was: birthdays, holidays, camping, BBQs, hunting, fishing, crabbing, horseshoes, water skiing, cards, building structures, restoring cars, tractors, tree falling, more. So much life was lived.
He will never be forgotten.
Jerry was born in North Bend on February 20, 1949, to Damon and Wilda Rosier (both deceased). After moving to Florence as a young child, Jerry nurtured and maintained many life-long friendships, including marrying his life partner Judy (Saubert) Rosier of Florence on February 21, 1970.
Jerry is survived by his wife of 53 years, Judy; two children, Alicia Wobbe and Mitchell Rosier; two grandchildren, Branden and Bryce Wobbe; great-grandchild, Brooklynn; sister, Vickie Phillips; nieces, Stacie Philips and Shelley Borchert.
