Aug. 28, 2019 — Florence Regional Arts Alliance (FRAA) will feature the versatile artwork of Patricia Williams during the month of September at the FRAA Art Center and Gallery, 120 Maple St. in Old Town Florence.

The community is also invited to meet Williams at the Second Saturday Gallery Tour from 3 to 5 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 14.

Williams is a Plein Air painter. “I love to capture the light and color that can only be seen first-hand.”

Williams paints in oil and watercolor and is an award-winning artist with a degree in fine art. She has also taken many workshops from artists in California and Canada, and has taught classes in watercolor and palette knife painting.

Willaims’ artwork has been published locally and worldwide, and she shows her work in regional and national art shows as well as FRAA’s Art Center and Gallery.

In addition to painting, Williams has been making jewelry since the ’70s. Her jewelry is one-of-a-kind filigree fine and sterling silver with gold accents and handmade lamp work focal beads.
