Halloween a real 'treat' for Siuslaw

Nov 2, 2022 — Principal Amy Flora, school staff and the kids at Siuslaw Elementary School know how to celebrate the holidays. From the looks of the children in costumes this year at drop off on Monday, Oct. 31, Halloween may be the most festive of the bunch.

According to Flora, besides the kids' costumes, it's business as usual on Halloween. Although kids can wear their costumes, they can't wear masks or anything that would be too distracting for a normal school day. 

Students from kindergarten through fifth grade came dressed in costumes of all sorts, some scary, some funny and some cute - but all fun.
