GOWER-FREE—Dianna L. Gower-Free passed away peacefully at home August 17, 2022.

She was born Oct. 9, 1947, to Herbert and Helen Hillman in Oregon City; they both proceeded her in death. Dianna grew up in the Molalla area. She attended Silverton High School, graduating in 1966.

Dianna married Ronald Gower Sr. in 1972 and he later proceeded her in death in 1998. She married Thomas Free in 1999. He also proceeded her in death.

Dianna worked for the Mapleton School District and did private in-home care. She enjoyed camping, baking and garage sales. She was an active member of the Florence Moose Lodge.

Surviving her is her son Ronald Gower Jr., her partner Alicia, sister Judy Whitacker (Clyde), her longtime partner Timothy King, numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will be at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 24, at Resurrection Lutheran Church, 85294 Highway 101 in Florence.
