Aug. 7, 2019 — For this month’s meeting of the Florence Area Community Coalition, guests Kayla Watford and Senna Towner from United Way are taking attendees through a “Live Healthy Lane: Community Health Needs Assessment” feedback session. The public is invited to participate on Wednesday, Aug. 7, from 9 to 10:30 a.m. in the Bromley Room at the Siuslaw Public Library, 1460 Ninth St.
Live Healthy is gathering feedback throughout Lane County to determine health services priorities for residents. This community feedback opportunity will help inform strategies to improve the health of all who live, learn, work and play in Lane County.
The project is in collaboration with PeaceHealth, Trillium and Siuslaw Vision. All are welcome and refreshments will be served.
The Florence Area Community Coalition membership year runs from July 1 to June 30, so it is time for current members to renew their memberships and new members to join to get a full year of benefits. Memberships can be individual ($25 per year) or organization ($50 per year). To download a membership application visit florenceareacc.org or call 541-999-2927.
