July 3, 2020 — Clara Noleen (Jellum) Snider passed away peacefully on June 18, 2020, with her devoted husband, Richard Snider, at her side.
Born to Noble and Pearl Jellum on July 17, 1929, in La Center, Wash., she completed her education there.
She married Richard (Dick) Snider on June 7, 1963.
She is survived by him and her children: John F. Bjorge, Karon Elton, Kristine Bjorge and Diana Henry (deceased); six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Clara was a career banker in Oregon and Texas for more than 30 years, with experience as a VP Supervisor of Issuance of the American Express Gold Card.
She was a loving mother, wife and best friend who loved to travel abroad, including to Mexico and Central America.
She was a snowbird, wintering in Arizona and the Mexican border of Texas for 20 years.
Her interests included quilting, sewing, ladies clubs, boating, flying and her church affiliation.
Services were held via Zoom from the Presbyterian Church on June 28.
A future memorial will take place at the pandemic’s end.
