CAPORALE—Raymond D. Caporale passed away Friday, April 30, 2021, after a lengthy battle with cancer.

Born Aug. 2, 1947, in Watsonville, Calif., Ray was preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Noel K. Caporale.

Ray had a great love for all things mechanical, ranging from 4-wheel drive vehicles and classic cars, to his Harley. His vast automotive knowledge was used by everyone that knew him, which often led to solutions to problems even over the phone.

Many years spent enjoying the coastline led Ray to Florence, Ore., where he has resided since 1993.

He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Rita; sons Gerred Caporale (Riley Tuttle) and Keven (Nicole) Caporale; stepdaughter Tracy Betts; and grandchildren Rachael Blizzard, Jacob Blizzard, Kaylee Caporale, Peyton Caporale and Henley Caporale.

A celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
