Calling on all ‘Superheroes 4 Kids’

Boys & Girls Club plans virtual Halloween Gala

Oct. 7, 2021 —  The community is invited to join Boys & Girls Club of Western Lane County at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 30, for the Superheroes 4 Kids Halloween Gala. This will be a virtual event to keep everyone safe from COVID-19. The format will be a giant house party where people can attend and enjoy a jam-packed, exciting event in the comfort of their home.

“All Superheroes 4 Kids know that light never shines brighter than in darkness,” stated the staff at the club. “We will shine a giant searchlight on all our Junior Superheroes at the Boys & Girls Club of Western Lane County.”

This premier virtual gala is a first of its kind in our community. The gala will be broadcast live via Zoom and YouTube from the club. If you’ve ever watched the Voice on TV, that is how our virtual gala will work.

All the proceeds from the Superhero 4 Kids Gala will support kids in Florence and surrounding communities.

So, get out your superhero costume and join the Boys & Girls Club for a night to remember — filled with world-class entertainment, games, prizes, live auction items and so much more.

If you don’t have a superhero costume, put on your most spooktacular Halloween costume.

The best costumes will win a superhero prize.

People can join the party virtually via Zoom or YouTube. VIP tickets are $75 per person and include a party-in-a-box with an amazing charcuterie box filled with meats, cheeses, fruits, chocolates and some very special superhero cookies. People will also get a choice of red/white wine, Bloody Mary fixings or soft drinks.

General admission tickets are only $25 per person. They include entertainment, games, prizes and a chance for some out of this world live auction items.

People can also become a Superhero Event Underwriter or Sponsor by calling 541-902-0304.

During the event, Halie Loren and her band will return for a sizzling performance that will light up the evening in honor of all our Superheroes 4 Kids.
