GROESBECK—Bette Oman Jensen Groesbeck passed away on December 24, 2021, in Meridian, Idaho.
Bette was born April 22, 1935, in Modesto, Calif., where she lived and grew up. She was a graduate of Modesto High School.
Her family owned the Hotel State, where she lived until she started grammar school. Bette worked many years in the Jensen family-owned appraisal business.
After retirement, she and her husband relocated to Oregon, where they volunteered work for both the Oregon State Police and Crime Stoppers.
Bette loved making quilts for members of her family and crafting greeting cards. Her passion for crafting greeting cards was her legacy to her grandchildren, especially Lil’ BJ.
She also enjoyed spending hours in her garden and was an avid reader.
Bette will be missed by those who knew and loved her, especially Dena. Bette is survived by her sons Jeff Jensen and girlfriend Sandy, Robert and wife Laurie, as well as her eight grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. Her children will remember her whenever they see a butterfly.
