May 26, 2023 — The Florence Police Dept has made an arrest in the Buds4U robbery that occurred on April 28.

On May 16 officers arrested 37-year-old Drew W. Smith of Mapleton for Robbery II and Aggravated Theft I. Smith was in custody at Lane County Adult Corrections on a Probation Violation when the new charges of robbery and theft were added.
